This historical 1928 clubhouse nestled in the quiet fields of Northview was updated to enhance the atmosphere for entertaining clients and guests. The exclusive clubhouse’s improvements were dedicated to the main gathering spaces including the presidential dining room, bar and pub, outdoor patio, card room and pro shop. Increasing light, making minor plan improvements, and embellishing the interior architecture with beautifully crafted details gave the club a fresh makeover with a neo-traditional flair.
Infusing fresh energy and architectural drama, a custom designed ceiling treatment in a tessellating geometric pattern is featured in the bar. The bar’s upholstered leather panels and tack detailing pay homage the existing design of the original wainscoting in the pub area. A quartz bar top with wood edging is under lit to highlight the bar’s detail and emit a warm and alluring glow.
Brightening the pub was achieved by opening the space to the bar area and by illuminating the room with oversized chandeliers and white painted wood paneling. The existing fireplace became a bright focal point with the application of lighter stonework and tile while preserving and in contrast to the rich stained oak of the original structural and framing elements of the room. Dining area amenities include new wine lockers designed and installed for patrons to store and chill wine with custom temperature controls.
